A WOMAN'S GARDEN

"A Woman's Garden" sits majestically as a living testament to the passion and vision of the Women's Council's founders - Margaret McDermott and Virginia Nick.  As you look at this Jewel of the Arboretum, you can see the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum's devoted members' commitment to creating a garden dedicated to the universl spirit of women.  This is realized in A Woman's Garden's inspired design - a composite of elegance and rustic strength, of water and landscape, of formal and naturalistic elements, and of refuge and renewal.  Since opening in 1997, "A Woman's Garden" continues to grow and evolve for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages to the Dallas Arboretum.
