North Texas Hill Country Winery Tour

The Spring Day Trip was way too much fun!  We had a brief stop on the town square in quaint St. Jo where we visited an art gallery, a saloon museum, and a boutique or two.  Then we were off to the breathtaking Red River Valley.  We stopped at the Blue Ostrich Winery where the owner guided us through the vineyard and winery.  Along the way we had a chance to taste their award-winning wines.  We enjoyed lunch with views of rolling hills and a few ostriches.  Then it was off to 4R Ranch Vineyards and Winery for dessert. We were hosted by Nicole Roper and treated to a special presentation on wine pairings by their sommelier.  Going home, we passed through Muenster for a stop at Fischer's Meat Market.  Then we hopped back on our party bus for our trip home.
